General terms and conditions

1. General

These general terms & conditions (“Terms”) of sale apply to all orders placed on later.eco (“Website”) or by telephone or email. The Website is operated by:

The present document along with other documents referred to within outline the terms and conditions for ordering items (“Products”) on the Website. We ask that you read these Terms carefully. SAS LATER is subsequently referred to as “LATER”.

2. Ordering

Browse the selection of Products on the Website in the Shop section. Select the Product size and color you would like to order, then click the “ADD TO BASKET” button. After you have finished selecting the products you wish to purchase, go to the Basket. After checking and validating the items in your cart, click the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” button. Here you may sign in if you already have an account with the Website. You may also enter a voucher code if you have one. If not already part of your account, you will be asked to enter your billing and delivery details. Select the shipping choice applicable to your shipping destination. At this point you should carefully review your order. Once you have determined it is correct, you may press the “PLACE ORDER” button.

After placing your order, you will see a screen with your Order Number displayed. An email will also be sent acknowledging that we received your order. This email does not mean that we have accepted your order, rather it is considered an offer to purchase the Products selected on the basis of these Terms. All orders are subject to being accepted by us. We will confirm that we have accepted your order by sending you an email saying that the items have been processed (this is the “Order Shipment Confirmation”). The agreement (hereafter the “Agreement”) between you and LATER… is formed when we send the Order Shipment Confirmation message.

Your order will be fulfilled by the communicated delivery date in the Order Shipment Confirmation. If no date is specified and barring exceptional circumstances, the order will be fulfilled within no more than 30 days of the date of the Order Shipment Confirmation.

We only sell Products to adults ages 18 years or older. By using the Website, you declare to be at least 18 years of age. All transactions are subject to our approval and we reserve the right to refuse service on the Website, remove or change content, cancel orders, and terminate accounts at the sole discretion of LATER…

3. Prices

Prices are indicated on the Website in Euro terms. All prices are inclusive of VAT in France (20%). Prices do not include shipping rates, which are applied on an order specific basis at the checkout. Delivery dates and delay depend upon the destination being shipped to.

LATER may modify prices on the Website at any time, without prior notice. Changes will not change the prices quoted in the Order Shipment Confirmation.

Despite our best efforts, some products indicated as available on the Website may in fact be unavailable. In such an instance, LATER… will inform you as soon as possible by email. You may then cancel the order and receive a refund of the paid amount.

In some instances the price of a Product indicated on the Website may be incorrect. In such instances we will either contact you for your input, or cancel the order and notify you. LATER… is under no obligation to provide the Product at an incorrect price, this is the case even if an Order Shipment Confirmation has already been sent and the pricing could have been recognized by you as incorrect.

4. Payment

Payment is made by the methods available in the checkout section of the Website. Full payment must be made at the time of order. By providing your credit or debit card number and details, you authorize LATER… to charge you the full amount of the order including any applicable taxes and duties. Ownership of the Product is maintained by LATER… until we have received full payment the Product, delivery fees, taxes, and duties.

Payment information will be encrypted, and it is only sent in protected form over the internet.

5. Returns, Exchanges, Repairs, and LATER… Buy-Back Program

Clean, unworn Products may be returned within 12 months from the date you receive the Product. Simply send an email to hello@later.eco for return instructions, or click Return Item in the Order History section of your account on the Website. Return postage fees are your responsibility unless otherwise stated.

To exchange an item, please return it per the process above and place a new order on the Website.

At any point in the life of the Product, if you discover a defect or problem with the workmanship, you may return it to us for repair, replacement, or refund. Send an email to hello@later.eco to start the process.

Refunds are processed up to 15 days from our receipt of the Product. Money will be refunded along the same channel used for the original Product purchase.

In some instances the Product may require a simple repair. Please contact us at hello@later.eco too discuss the most appropriate solution.

If you are no longer wearing your LATER… product, we would like it back. Please contact hello@bylater.com to receive a return postage slip and a voucher (currently 15% of the sale pricee) for use on the Website.

6. Liability & Responsibility

LATER…’s liability in relation to any purchases on the Website are limited to the amount of the Product. We accept no liability regarding loss of income, revenue, data, or damage of other kind.

7. Intellectual Property

The Website, its contents and images are the property of LATER… The customer is not permitted to download, modify, or distribute any or all parts of the Website without the express written consent of LATER…

9. RePack Data Use

LATER… partners RePack to use their reusable and recyclable packaging. The Website discloses to Plan B From Outer Space Ltd. (Plan B) the data necessary for the processing and invoicing of the order. The customers’ data is recorded in the RePack customer register, the data included therein is used for the processing and follow-up of the order, the delivery of the voucher and the care and maintenance of the customer relationship. Plan B does not sell, distribute or rent the data to third parties.

10. Force Majeure Events

In the case of events beyond our control, we are not liable for existing obligations for the duration of the event. Such events include but are not limited to: general strikes, civil unrest, acts of war, natural or man-made disasters, disease, failure of means of transport, terrorist attacks, governmental restrictions, and failure of communications systems.

For such events that occur for a duration greater than 3 months, existing contracts will be terminated automatically at that date, without indemnity to any party.

11. Additional

If any of the above elements are rendered invalid or inapplicable, they will be considered omitted. This will not negate the remainder of the Terms.

These Terms may be modified at any time by LATER without notice. The applicable Terms are those in effect on the date of your purchase of the Product. You may wish to save a version of these Terms as applicable on said date of purchase.

These Terms along with documents referenced within refer to the entire relationship between you and LATER and they supersede prior agreements, arrangements, and understandings.

Contracts are governed by French law. Any disputes will be settled in French court.
