WHO ARE WE ?

We are two long-time friends. Over the past 20 years, we have had varied backgrounds, acquired different skills, and enjoyed rich experiences.
Our paths have followed different paths, but always guided by the same obsession: to learn, to create, to remain curious.

In 2018, over a beer, we realized we wanted to get back to basics. To put our energy into a project that matters. Not just a clothing brand, but a way to say we can love fashion and refuse to turn a blind eye to its impact.

This is how LATER was born... in January 2019 : a brand that tries to do things differently. Produce locally, respect the planet , without ever forgetting what makes us tick: well-cut pieces, beautiful to wear, and that tell a story.

OUR COMMITMENTS

Respecting the planet and those who live on it is at the heart of our approach . We choose recycled, revalued or organic materials, and we limit our impacts by reducing and offsetting our consumption.

We work primarily with local partners who share our values, pay fairly for their work, and are committed to more sustainable fashion.

But we don't always find ourselves in the discourses that claim to be "sustainable." That's why we talk instead about responsibility . It addresses our environment, our planet, but also every person, organization, and community that makes up the society in which we live and that we want to change.

In concrete terms, each decision is accompanied by simple but essential questions : What are our ecological and social impacts? Is it sustainable in the long term? Who are we helping and who are we negatively impacting? How can we find the right balance between the two?

We don't seek perfection, but continuous improvement. Our ambition is to generate the greatest possible positive impact, with the resources and ideas at our disposal. And above all, to show that another way of doing things is not only necessary, but achievable.

Consuming better means, above all, being well informed.

The textile industry is notorious for its opacity: cascading subcontracting, often missing material origins, and sometimes misleading labels and information. It's difficult for consumers to know exactly what they're buying and who they trust.

At LATER… , we have chosen a different path. We offer you complete, clear, and accessible transparency. Every material, every workshop, every production step is documented and shared. Our goal: to allow you to judge for yourself, with full knowledge of the facts.

We believe that more responsible consumption begins with information. Knowing the exact journey of a garment, understanding the choice of materials, and knowing who contributed to its manufacture: this is how we invite you to consume with awareness and pleasure.

OUR MATERIALS

We work with materials that already have a history : organic, revalued and also a lot of recycled.

Recycling remains at the heart of our approach , and even details like our milk casein buttons come from surplus production. Every thread, every piece is closely monitored: we know our partners, from the spinner to the manufacturer.

THE INSTRUCTIONS

Your LATER… parts are consigned.

New, worn, marked by time: they all have value.

At LATER… , we advocate sustainable fashion where every garment deserves a second life. This is the purpose of our consignment service: we buy back your pieces and you receive, depending on their condition, a voucher worth 10 to 30% of their original value, to use in the store.

Whether they've shrunk, have a stain, or are just sitting in your closet, we'll take them back. Our mission is simple: reduce waste and extend the story of every garment.

What happens to your coins?
Each item is inspected, restored, and sometimes transformed before being added to our Vintage capsule collection. And those that are too damaged continue their journey differently: they are recycled.
