Description

A wool overshirt you’ll still be wearing 10 years from now

As the name suggests, an overshirt is worn over another garment. It can be used as a sweater or a jacket. You can wear it on a hoodie as well as on a t-shirt. We chose a straight cut and a timeless style.

Style is in the details

The wrist is one of our signatures. We worked it so you can wear it closed, open or rolled up. In any case, it will always be impeccable.

Our wool overshirt is 100% recycled

Why produce new materials when we know that 100,000 tons of clothes are thrown away every year? At LATER… we work with what is there No dye is added!

That’s why we think of clothing differently. Also, it goes through the wool sheet we use. It is obtained only from old textiles. Once defibered, La filature du parc in Brassac, in the South of France, makes new spools. A way of breathing new life into a stock of clothes destined for destruction.

A wool sheet of unique quality

Our 100% recycled wool sheet has all the traditional characteristics. Whether it is its soft touch or its thickness that makes the piece warm and comfortable, it meets many of our requirements, the first being quality. You can wear our 100% recycled wool overshirt for a long time, as the wool sheet is not about to run out of steam.

The weaving is done in Castres, at Pierre Calvet. For L’Épure, we chose a mix of recycled wool (70%) and recycled polyamide (25%). The rest is obtained from other fibers, already present in the fabrics before they are recycled.

A price in all transparency

We believe that full transparency is a necessary condition for responsible consumption. From the cost of materials and garments to logistics and wages, we explain the price of our recycled wool overshirt in detail.

Produce in small quantities, locally

Logical continuation of the use of old textiles to realize our wool sheet, we make the choice of a close production, using local know-how. All our parts are produced in very small quantities in order to control our stock. From the thread to the fabric and the buttons, all the steps of the making of the Epure are made in France and in Portugal. This choice allows us to know personally the people who make our oversheets. This allows us to build strong relationships with our partners but also to ensure the working conditions ourselves.

Size guide

For sizing, it’s easy: choose the overshirt in your usual size. Si vous êtes entre deux tailles, l’inférieure donnera à la veste un côté légèrement plus fit alors que la supérieure sera droite.

Pape is 183 cm tall and wears L for a full look
Monsieur Georges is 185 cm tall and wears L.

Make your recycled wool overshirt last longer

This recycled wool must be carefully cared for.
We recommend that you wash it at 30° using the wool program, or hand-wash it on your washing machine without mechanical drying.
Dry your overshirt flat, in the shade.
We recommend that you do not wash this overshirt with a professional who carries out chemical cleaning.

A desire to change things

When we launched Later…, we started from an observation: we don’t really know what we are consuming. Where do the materials come from? Where are they processed? In what conditions ? Where does our money go?

With Later… we want to bring full transparency. We want to allow the customer to understand what he is buying but, above all, to understand our approach, our choices and our way of producing.

Later… is a life project. It is the desire to give meaning to clothes, but also to the world of fashion. Getting as close as possible to our values, to what motivates us every day: respecting the environment, respecting people. For this, our pieces are entirely made from 100% recycled fabrics. We also rely on local know-how to offer quality, durable and timeless clothing.
